This factsheet aims to inform about the good practices related to multi-stakeholder and cross-sector interconnections obtained through the analysis of the work of clusters to foster the bioeconomy.
Biobridges’ factsheet presents key takeaways from a report (available HERE) mapping good practices of multi-stakeholder and cross-sectoral collaboration in 18 regional and national bioeconomy clusters across Europe.
The identified effective instruments include engagement tools such as matchmaking events, pitch events, innovation boot camps, phone applications; the establishment of working groups; the provision of support services for start-ups and public funding.
In addition to this, the analysis has shown that a number of factors hampers the formation and effective management of bioeconomy clusters.
