On the last 11-12 of September 2018, in a sunny and warm day in Porto, the 9 partners joint together to officially kick-start the Biobridges project.
Hosted by the Coordinator LOBA, the meeting aimed at getting to know each other, share the different points of views about the project’s methodology and discuss about what challenges and activities await us for the upcoming months.
The first day started with a general introduction about the project, followed by a discussion on relevant concepts and keywords such as sustainability, value chains, bio-based products, etc. Then, the Project Officer, Mr. Thomas Vyzikas, gave a presentation informing about BBI-JU and the Commission’s expectations and important procedures.
During the rest of the days each leading partner moderated a workshop session regarding respective Work Packages. In particular, it was discussed the objectives, the main activities, the responsibilities, and relevant links with other Work Packages, among other.
